Solar ovens make it to NPR

I have recently become a part of a program with my utility to reduce my electrical usage. I know some of you have heard of it--NStar has offered Power Cost Monitors to visualize your electrical consumption in real time.

NStar asked me to participate in some local press on this, and I got on TV. But I wasn't able to get them to talk about some of my other conservation strategies. They had no interest at all in my solar oven.

But now I'm trying to get better at managing my media appearances (which now = 2). And when NStar called again and asked if I would do an NPR interview, I was more prepared.

Listen as I get both my laundry line and my solar oven on national radio: NStar Energy Monitors May Lower Consumption.

Onwards and upwards!
