Spreading the Word About Protecting the Environment

Agencies and charities involved with developing countries have long known that encouraging people to work with the land and wildlife habitats produces much greater, long-term sustainability of local resources and local employment.

Nature-based economies can be worth billions of dollars to countries such as Africa and education of adults and school children alike has proved that teaching them to respect conservation issues and their natural resources can have a huge impact. Eco-tourism is growing year after year. This is a valuable source of income for many poor developing countries. Where education has embraced this, both wildlife and local people have benefitted.

In India there are schemes were moving rural populations away from threatened wildlife habitats can have great benefits for people and animals. Government incentives such as better housing, schooling and employment were taken up quite happily were this was done in a sensitive way.

We still know very little about the medicinal qualities of many plants, both in terms of terrestrial and marine life forms. In the future these may well become major sources of income for local communities. Education will provide small communities with the means to make the most of what they have on their doorstep. When they know that maintaining the forest around them is far more valuable as a source of long-term income than cutting it down for short term gain, they will start to look after it better.

Aid in developing countries has rarely been used effectively, when it involved large-scale charitable projects but has shown huge successes where small communities got involved on their own terms, making the most of their century old local knowledge.

Shaking up the Complacent Developed World

Education of people in Western developed countries is perhaps best achieved by appealing to their eternal greed. Clear up operations of oil tanker disasters cost millions of pounds and the aftereffect of such oil pollution are felt by local communities for years to come. Re-educating people to see themselves as custodians and not masters of the land around them will be an uphill struggle, but the economic success of eco-friendly schemes is one way to do it.

A few years ago people wanting to grow vegetables organically were scoffed at and put down as cranks. Today the organic food market is worth billions every year across many countries.

Recent events in the Middle East have driven home the message to governments across the Western world that supporting dictatorships to suppress their own people while we harvest their oil is a short-lived, costly strategy. As Arabic peoples are finally seizing the freedom and chance for democracy, Western governments will have to educate themselves and their nations how to exist with less reliance on oil and petrochemical exploitation. It is long overdue and should serve as a wake-up call that we can no longer be complacent to the very real threat of global warming.

Incentive schemes to big business for eco-friendly projects and severe punishments to those who pollute must be part of environmental education.

Education is Key

It is necessary to say that education does not just mean that once pursued it automatically makes the individual clever, but it helps a lot to solve so many problems. It is the duty of every country to see to it that its people are being educated in many ways to prevent negative situations. Unless perhaps a particular country has a special reason, there should not be any instance where people are being refused basic education.

Nowadays anyone who does not possess any form of education especially that of the formal education is usually not regarded in any way. This is again a reason why it is necessary to see to it that there is always some kind of education exhibited no matter what the situation. Education, whether it is the formal or non-formal type, is very crucial and as such should be applied in every aspect for success. There are instances whereby some people will simply not be educated in the formal way because they feel it has never been part of their culture and so they see no need for that. Well depending on what exactly the culture says, it might be true but what those native should realize that time changes and as such it very nice to be able to change alongside with time.

There are several cultures that are always ready to change alongside everything that happens and they usually do not have any problem again. It is therefore very necessary that all the important steps about education are taken in order to achieve this wonderful task. It is only when it is achieved that one can boldly say he or she has made it to the top.

One major advantage of formal education is that it gives abundant opportunities to so many things. Most at times when someone is able to climb the ladder until he or she reaches high school, that person begins to appreciate the benefits of education and as such tries to now improve it into many other ways. But of course it is noted that, all those who actually pursue education the right way end up obtaining a job which is usually very helpful to them. As a matter of fact, majority nowadays only pursue education simply because they know the advantages derived from it. They know they will either possess some kind of prestige or good job at the long run and this of course has been noted by majority nowadays.

It is crucial to state here that education is like an investment and majority of the people will often make that investment. Those who actually invest in education most at times do come out with a very good career yield known as their profit and this is one of the reasons why it should be considered important. Education teaches us many things about ourselves, the way we should live, our job and our environment. It gives us knowledge and knowledge is power. The more we know, the better equipped we are to handle tough situations.

Environmental Awareness

One of the important things that environmental awareness promotes is wildlife conservation. Usually people do not understand the notion that we need the wild life as much as they need us. It ties up with our need for good health. There are many herbs and shrubs in wild forests that cure a number of diseases. If we let these wild forests get destroyed, it could have negative effects on healthcare system and may even lead to human extinction in 100 years from now. Prunella Vulgaris, for example is an herb that is used for herpes. Many scientists are in fact conducting research on wild plants that promise to cure cancer. If those unfound magic herbs are wiped out before we can understand their use, we may be losing our only hope in curing diseases like cancer and aids.

Just as wild plants are important to our health, so are wild animals. Many wild animals eat plants and shrubs that are harmful for humans thus leaving the more edible fruits and vegetation for human consumption. They may also give us cues on what to eat and not to eat. There are many species of animals whose bone and fat are important for medicinal purposes. Bees are important in pollination. They carry pollen and deliver it to another plant where it can germinate and produce a delicious fruits and vegetables. Snakes are known to eat rats, an unwanted rodent in common household. Wild animals are not dangerous to humans if we just let them be and not annoy them. Therefore, for many essential purposes, conservation of wildlife is important for human survival and that is exactly what environmental awareness is trying to achieve.

We humans need a push. We always need a reminder to keep us on the right track. Devising a plan would definitely move mountains. Environmental awareness will help in many ways. It will give us the encouragement to act responsibly. It will call for more efficient recycling tactics and action; it will raise awareness on how to save our atmosphere from further pollution and deterioration; and as a result, it will save the world and possibly human existence from becoming extinct.

Promoting environmental health is a step towards a bright future because education is our most important asset. It goes a long way. Arousing awareness in people living in the cities and rural areas will help them actively become contributors towards a better environmental health. Saving this planet is not only a good cause but it’s our duty as well. We have been given all the resources we could ever ask for, now using it in a nondestructive manner is essential to keep those resources. Together, we can reach our goal of a healthy environment with this new affirmation disguised as environmental awareness. We must all work together to help create a better planet for all of us to share.

Economic Impact on Environmental Awareness

It is understood that the process of globalization, the concept of citizenship has become a universal value and bionomic ethical codes a matter of love, lovingness, and taking part in this perspective of the integration of the motor are honorable.

Consumers are more cognizant and business enterprises in their needs for product and commercial enterprises, there is less space for ethical places in the incarnate world. The companies have a part in lending to the social consensus, through a sustainable commercial enterprise pattern, which means the change in values and orientation in their system, and the preservation of the surroundings.

This century is a trying time of unprecedented challenges and varieties. Not only for the leaders of our world, but for us ordinary people. We have seen and felt slap up changes in the spheric economic system. However, some who live in rich areas are only palely aware of these changes. How many of us make, for example, that the economic crisis in some areas has more than reduplicated the number of people in these areas live in impoverishment? As a result, we learn of children who are undernourished and growing health problems, with the pitiful experimental conditions.

The primary province of this phylogeny fits to our world leaders, in particular, the political sciences of the world’s richest nations. It is these regimes that place the rules and legal philosophies for international craft through establishments, among other things.

The fact that we are unwitting and know little about the world economic system does not exclude liability. Media and Cyber-space conveys us the news, primary beginnings of selective information. The reality is that the mainstream of this info may have trammeled perspectives of what is really taking place in the world. What about the half truths, the sensational and biased reporting that we have to deal with? We should not believe or take all news to be straight.

It is the same media also play a primal part in sparking a positive variety. For example, a newspaper can exhibit corruptness and crime through the effectuation of a serialized story or pursue a principal of around a major upshot. These writes up, once taken seriously and inquire formally possible generative results for the community or the world in general. A case I have in mind was the international media exposure of pre-1994 South African regime’s unjustness that helped tumble the apartheid regime. The rest is history.

We need not be inactive consumers of news either. A variety of being info canals including diaries brought out by social jurist tailored constitutions. Some books and clauses with known observers have highlighted the reality beneath the gloss of political and bodied propaganda. Subdivisions I always have in mind are the “letter to the editor in chief” and “judgment” pages of papers, magazines and Internet sites that alarms us to outcomes that are relevant or trivial. Some local government leaders scheduled a constructive give and take with its penises. You can also listen to encouragement by guest talkers, or chitchat the authority of the Community Civic adverts.

Save the World Before it’s too Late

In the very early days of the human life, humans were the most endangered species on the face of the earth, living in jungles and caves, without food and water, and constantly under attack from animals or natural calamities. God has created humans as the best creatures and the most powerful beings on earth, but unfortunately, as the times passed humans have become the cruelest and the unkind of all beings. Man is using his power in the wrong way. They simply have been mis-using their rights and power. Thus man has become a social animal but a bad one. In fact, the situation has become so dire that humans have become lethal for animals.

Human beings are destroying the whole world. Everyone is just thinking for just their selves. They don’t even worry about their families anymore either. All there is left for humans is competing with each other to earn more money and to fulfill their desires. It is an old saying that “the things are to be used and people are to be loved and when this becomes diverse the world will be no more.” This is what is happening all over the world. Man is enjoying the things and using human beings.

Nobody is thinking what they are doing. Everyone knows the important of trees and animals, but they are still cutting the trees to occupy more space to build their big houses and buildings. The forests has been cutting day by day, number of trees has been crushed every day. Animals have been killed. The cruel man is killing the blameless animals for his financial gain. Cutting and chopping trees for his selfish desires. All this is happening throughout the world.

I think everyone is aware of the term “global warming.” This is actually the increase in the average temperatures on the earth’s surface. The scientists have predicted that global warming is increasing due to a rapid increase in the emission of greenhouse gasses. Everyone is well aware of all this, but still they don’t even try to stop it. People are still using toxic stuff in there machineries. The sea is being polluted with dangerous chemicals, which are destroying the marine life. Pollution is increasing day by day. The air, the water and the earth on the whole is depleting at an enormous pace.

How should we save our earth by from all this? The answer to this query is stated in the following few steps:

We should try not to use electrical appliances that that emit green house gasses.

We should try to use only those items, which are made from re-cycled material. We should follow the term RRR that is reduce, reuse and re-cycle.

We should stop cutting down trees for paper or other items made from wood.

We should avoid wasting water and electricity at our homes or places of work.

There are many organizations from various countries that are trying to prevent the world from being destroyed at the hands of her own people. You should get up to speed too and do your part to save this world from dying out.

Conservation Education

Conservation Education has helped more individuals to be more aware and conscious of our responsibility with our environment. Organizations were created and they have been working with other government agencies to promote conservation efforts in wildlife. We need to cooperate and participate in any conservation organizations since we are doing this not only for ourselves but for our children’s children.

We only have one life to live and man should work together before it’s too late. Eco-Health is uniting us to join together in finding solutions to the negative effect of the changes affecting man’s health. Medical practitioners like physicians, economists, ecologists and others in other related field are into research and various studies to reduced negative effects of ecosystem changes. One can observed that there are illnesses evolving due to the changes in the earth’s ecosystem.

Every now and then new illnesses are developed and anyone can observe that a simple fever before is not that dangerous as it is nowadays. Eco-Health is the study on the effect of changes in the earth’s ecosystems on a person’s health. Every individual should be aware and better understand how these changes are affecting man’s health. We all know that man’s act have affected the rainforest, which were abundant many years ago. We need to preserve our rainforest. With this we are able to help the conservation efforts in wildlife. If we are able to help in this effort, then we are able to help solve the eco-health problems that man is experiencing now.

Eco-living should be practiced to protect the environment. If we do so, we are saving not only ourselves but also our wildlife since they are also affected by whatever changes our world will experience. Using materials that are not harmful to the environment is promoting eco-living. We should patronize products that use natural materials. Plastic cellophanes should not be use since most individual just throw these materials out in the garbage. They are one of the major reasons of drainage problems and water pollutions. These materials can’t be recycled. Using such materials will in return endanger our ecosystem which will also affect our wildlife.

The benefits of eco-living are that you are able to help in promoting the use of natural materials. Products with natural materials have fewer irritants that may affect our health. Examples of this are fabrics, make-up, and many others. Manufacturers are no longer encouraged in using harmful chemicals, dyes, and ingredients. They will then be encouraged to use materials that will reduce pollution. With this, their products will be less expensive. Wildlife will no longer be threatened by the effect of man’s activities like spreading harmful or toxic effect which creates harmful diseases to both man and animals. We should remember that the future depends on what we do now.

Life is like a ripple effect. If you do harm, it will create another negative effect which will in turn create much larger problem not just to one, but to all of us living in this world. For us to create a better place to live, we need to act now in a positive way where we are able to make a positive change for us to have a cleaner and safer place to live.
